Hi,
I am in a wedding in 3.5 months. All of the bridesmaids and the bride are very thin and pretty. I am pretty, however, I am 4′10 and almost 170 pounds. I don’t want to be the fat girl in all of the pictures. I am ready to begin P90X and start eating healthier. I would love to get down to 110 pounds, although I know that is not realistic or healthy. I want to set a healthy goal. What is the maximum amount of weight I can lose and still be healthy.

I find often when I go on a road trip you will drive for miles and miles without seeing ANY restaurants serving reasonably healthy food. Often I see a LOT of McDonald’s, Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King, Wendy’s, Carls Jr, Denny’s, Del Taco, etc along the highway rest stops but not any places with FRESH and HEALTHY food. Perhaps next time I’ll simply pack food bought from the grocery store and wait to get to the main city/town areas to buy more healthy groceries and find HEALTHIER restaurants. What are your thoughts on this?

I have a chronic liver condition with pain and tiredness and overall feeling of just plain lousy. I know I need to make a lifestyle change, but am not sure where to start. Is anyone in the same boat and how have you improved your life? Have you taken any supplements? Tried Reliv? HELP! Any advice would be helpfull! Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

I am currently recovering from anorexia nervosa.
I’d like to start a healthy ovo-lacto-vegetarian diet.
Could anyone suggest a meal plan for me, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks? Or at least what nutrients and food groups I should take into account?

My parents have a toy poodle she is 6 years old. She was always healthy and playful. Then suddenly she started having seizures about 3 months ago. The vet said the seizures were being caused by pet treats. The treats were immediatly stopped and thrown away. But she continues to have the seizures. They are coming more often, lasting longer, and seem to be getting stronger and more violent. We no longer think they were caused by the treats. What else could be causing the seizures?

On one hand allowing other people to see what is going on with you seems healthy, on the other people often seem not to want to have it impose on their world and get upset. How do others handle this thorny issue?
