He’s 12 and the vet says his blood work makes him seem younger.

I’d love it if he could be healthy and happy at 30.

Do you need to be financially stable and have money just to have a healthy lifestyle?

curious asked:

My aunt told me that I have to bear in mind that we can’t always have a wonderful and ‘healthy’ food in our house. That is like, I should eat whatever is set on the table. She emphasizes that we can’t always have wonderful healthy recipes- low fat, low calories, etc. healthy living since most of our foods rely on frying, etc.

Can anyone suggest cheap but easy yet healthy main meals, recipes so I can prove to her that having healthy lifestyle don’t hinder lack of money. Even just eating fresh fruits and veggies are a cheap way and one of the steps to a healthy lifestyle isn’t?
That’s why I volunteered to be the cook for a while instead of my grandma… healthy cooking-simple meals, soups, anything with veggies… any suggestion so far? Good and easy recipe cooking website?
Well, I suppose olive oil is expensive to consider… my grandma used to buy that ordinary cooking oil ( I don’t know what’s that made out of). Often, we cook our meals and we don’t rely on ready food fads out there. However, I think it’s a matter of experimenting something new, healthy, and simple cooking without much cost isn’t? I often debate this one to my aunt.
I agree with SubJ that low income is conducive with a much healthier lifestyle since most people buy on markets and markets are everywhere (even on the streets) like in 3rd world countries and most of the fresh stuffs just came from farms or even in nearby provinces. Just notice why most Asians are slim… though I am not generalizing- compared to first world countries.
Well, I suppose to be really strict and stick to a really healthy lifestyle adds additional cost and time. I agree that most of the fatty ones makes one full and sometimes it tastes good and more palatable. However, what I am trying to point out here is that fresh is best isn’t? That to lead a healthier lifestyle is eating sensibly- knowing what is good to eat or not.

The Revolutionary asked:

We’re poor, I’m not afraid to admit it. I’m married with a year-old son and a baby on the way. We’re on CalWORKS (call it welfare if you want to be a jerk), and I just can’t eat as healthy as I would like with food stamps – organic and vegetarian is just not an option for us. I can’t use canvas shopping bags unless I get them for free. I can recycle and conserve energy – but that’s about it.

But I want to DO MORE. Any tips?

Okie Dokie asked:

I always tell myself I should go on a diet and eat healthy. Like, no more soda and candy. But I never stick with it.
I also need to drink more water and vitamin K and iron.
How do I get these into my diet?

I have dark circles under my eyes and maybe drinking more water and reducing my computer time will help?

Mr. Knowledgeable VI asked:

Eatting at Buffet Restaurants like Golden Corral and Old Country Buffet offer a whole variety of foods to choose from. From Chicken to Pizza and from fried foods to baked foods, fruits, vegtables, salads, and desserts, buffet restaurants have a lot of options to choose from.

However, it might not always be easy to eat healthy at a buffet because of the wide selection of foods to choose from. What are ways you can eat healthy when you are eatting at a buffet restaurant?
